In NBA Playoffs, Even the Best Can Improve.
  Even the best NBA teams struggle with elements of the game, so here are things the top four teams may want to work on now that the postseason has arrived.     (AP) -- Stan Van Gundy has a request for the NBA: fewer days between games in the playoffs.   Richard Jefferson had 19 points, rebounding from a poor performance in Game 1 to help the Spurs beat the Mavericks and tie their first-round series at one game each.           The Hawks will head to Milwaukee on Saturday night with a commanding 2-0 lead, the first time they have won the first two games in a best-of-seven series since 1970.
