Spurs Injury Update: Tim Duncan to miss three-game road trip

Coming into the final stretch of the NBA regular season, the San Antonio Spurs look to be on their way to clinching the number one seed in the Western Conference as long as they can maintain their six-game lead on the two-time defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers.

Even though the two-time defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers are threatening to possibly jump to the first seed in the Western Conference before season's end, the San Antonio Spurs pretty much have it in hand as unless they go through a disastrous meltdown, they will head into the playoffs as the top team in the West.
